The desert has a human problem- art show 2012

August 3rd, 2012 @ Metro Newspaper office gallery- The desert is an empty place, yet full of impossible distances and clear hot skies. Despite the sand and the oppressive heat, we feel the need to fill this emptiness. We create, we build, we live, we play, we pray, only to later recede like the absent tide on this waterless beach. What is left behind never moves. Yet, it still eventually finds itself lost, returned to the sand, the heat, and the slow passage of time.
